The ARI Competition for the Participation trophy 2022/23 is being collated with a announcement THIS WEEK.
In the meantime - the new season started on August the 1st and already we have the 1st result.
No surprise that it is the oldest mixed ability club - The Swansea Gladiators who have come out of the blocks 1st.
They played Pontiates RFC in an early kick off, before watching Wales play England. It was obviously quite the occasion with live music on afterwards.
Pontiates coach (and ex Gladiator) Ryan Bath said it was a really enjoyable game with the ref confirming that the Glads had got off to a winning start.
So we have the 1st entry in the new league table:
On Saturday we can expect several Scottish sides to be joining the Gladiators as the Borders Clan host a tournament (taking part in a tournament scores 50 points for every day of rugby played). Good luck to all involved
